Melisa Lepard is the Dean and Program Director of the Associate Degree in Nursing Program at Galen College of Nursing’s Cincinnati, Ohio Campus. She joined the College in April of 2011 at the San Antonio Campus and transferred in April of 2014 to the Cincinnati Campus. Prior to joining Galen, she served as the Associate Dean of Nursing at Itawamba Community College (ICC) in Fulton Mississippi. She was affiliated with ICC for 28 years as a Nursing Faculty member, Assistant Director and Director of the ADN Program. During that time she was an active member of the Mississippi Deans and Directors Council and the Mississippi Organization for Associate Degree Nursing, serving as Secretary, Chair of the Nominations committee and President. She received her BSN and MSN from Mississippi University for Women (MUW).
Memberships include the Ohio Council of ADN Education Administrators (OCADNEA), National Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (NOADN) and currently serves on the Education Council Advisory Group for the Ohio Board of Nursing.
