Tracy A. Ortelli, PhD(c), MS, RN, CNE

Ms. Ortelli, Vice President of Academic Affairs for Galen, has enjoyed a successful career in the nursing field, with experience in a number of areas. In addition to spending four years at the NLN directing the initial development, launch, and management of the Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential, she also has experience as a test developer for the NCLEX® RN and PN licensure examinations and as a nurse educator, along with several years of clinical nursing experience.

Ms. Ortelli’s publishing and presenting credits also reflect her diverse knowledge and experience in nursing; she has written and contributed to a number of texts and journals. Meanwhile, she has been a frequent presenter on nursing education at conventions, events and institutions across the U.S. since the early 2000s.
