Louise M. DeBlois, MA, MEd, RN, CNE

A native of New Jersey, Mrs. DeBlois is a BSN. Graduate of Upsala College/Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing. She received a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching Nursing and a Masters Degree in Education from Teachers College Columbia University. Mrs. DeBlois has over thirty five years of experience in nursing. She has held positions as a staff nurse, nursing service administrator, nurse educator and nursing education administrator. In addition she has been a consultant for curriculum development and preparing for NLNAC site visit.

Mrs. DeBlois has been a member and assumed the leadership role in both state and national organizations. She was a member of the New Jersey Board of Nursing Education Committee, President, member of the Board of Directors NJLN, Chairman of the New Jersey Convention committee. Site Visitor, Chair, Member of NLNAC Evaluation Review Panel and governor’s appointment to the New Jersey Collaborating Center for Nursing. In 2009 she was named the Administrator of the Year by The Health Sciences Library Association of New Jersey and received the NJLN Presidents Award. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
