Go to the FAFSA website, and enter Galen’s school code, which is 015924. We’re here to help if you would like assistance.
Provide proof of education.
All Galen programs require proof of high school graduation and/or GED. You will need a copy of your diploma or GED certificate.
Submit transcripts and nursing license (if applicable):
For students applying to Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Degree program and requesting transfer credits: Submit official, applicable transcripts. Please remember that any courses you wish to transfer in to Galen must be presented at this time. They will not be considered after your application is complete.
If you are already an LVN who’s applying for our LVN to ADN Bridge: Submit an official LPN transcript reflecting a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
You must provide proof of current, active, unencumbered VN licensure unless you begin a LVN to ADN Bridge program within six months of completing Galen’s VN Program. However, VN licensure is a course registration requirement for NUR 242 Medical/Surgical Nursing Concepts.
Transfer Evaluation System (TES®)
Premier interactive database of course data from institutions of higher education
In the evaluation of transfer credit, Galen utilizes TES®, the Transfer Evaluation System from CollegeSource which is the premier interactive database of course data from institutions of higher education to track and display previously approved courses for transfer. The equivalencies shown are for information purposes only and are subject to change due to changes in curriculum. Galen does not transfer in developmental, pre-licensure, or nursing courses taken prior to achieving an RN license.
If you have college credit that you would like to compare to this listing, please go here and follow instructions. If an equivalency is not listed, please contact one of our admissions representatives who can work with you to submit your courses for evaluation.
