Practical Nursing (PN)

Practical Nursing (PN)

Becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse is a great way to get into a high-demand, rewarding career. As an indispensable member of the patient-care team, LPN’s communicate with patients, reporting back status to the team, assist in developing a plan of care, and provide patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.

Practical nurses land in a list of occupations poised for growth between 2012 and 2022*, at a higher rate even than registered nursing. It’s an exciting time to join the healthcare field as demand for quality and compassionate healthcare continues to grow.

This is also a great way to get started in nursing by gaining the education to start working in the nursing field, then continue on your path towards becoming an RN. You’ll have a leg up with a solid foundation from your PN program, as well as valuable real-world clinical experience to apply to your continuing education.
