Dual-Track BSN (ADN/BSN)

For those new to nursing, interested in becoming an RN, this is a great way to obtain your ADN and RN on your path to a BSN.

Galen's Dual-Track BSN combines our 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing and our 16-month online RN to BSN. Students are enrolled in both with no additional financial obligation and upon completion of their ADN degree, can transition seamlessly into BSN coursework before sitting for the NCLEX, if they decide they want to continue on. Upon passing the NCLEX-RN they can continue with BSN level nursing classes, or if they want, go to work as an RN and return to the BSN when it is right for them.

The great thing about this new offering is that the student controls their options and can do what is best for them at the time.

New to nursing students who go through without stopping can have their RN in just two years when students in many other BSN nursing programs are just starting nursing classes. And in less than a year and a half later, hold a BSN. That's just over 3 years to a BSN--while obtaining your RN!

The Galen Dual-Track is made up of two programs:

  • ADN, 24 month, full-time
  • RN to BSN, 16 month, online
Dual-Track BSN: Associate Degree in Nursing
  • 24-month, full-time

  • We accept transfer credit if you have general education courses from previous programs you'd like us to consider
  • Clinical opportunities early in the curriculum

  • Before the final quarter of your ADN curriculum, you will be asked to submit your intent to continue to BSN
Dual-Track BSN: RN to BSN
  • 16-months, online
  • Semester based, 8-week modules
